Role
Full-stack development: design and build of the landing page

South Florida Face and Body is a Miami Beach clinic for aesthetics and functional medicine, run by a nurse practitioner. Plainbuilt designed and built its landing page, full stack: one homepage that puts the treatment list in the headline, sells from two menus, introduces the founder, shows the reviews and the license, and places a gold Book button in four places. The design rests on one line from the page: personalized functional medicine and aesthetics in Miami Beach.

Who is the landing page for?

A patient in Miami Beach who already knows what they want. The headline is the treatment list, and the one action on the page is to book: Book now in the header, Book a consultation in the hero, Book now under the positioning line and again under the about copy. The header links six pages, Home, About me, Aesthetic services, Photo gallery, Blog and Contact us, for the visitor who wants to read first; the page shown here is the homepage.

What did Plainbuilt build?

The landing page, designed and built full stack. The header with the lotus logo, six links and Book now. The hero. The aesthetic treatment menu, six photo cards. The wellness treatment menu, four category cards with Explore links, and the gold positioning line with its Book now. The about section, with the founder's portrait, three paragraphs and two buttons. Three Google reviews in a carousel with previous and next arrows. The gold trust band. The TV feature video block and the media and press link. The six-tile Instagram strip. The footer: the logo and a Google map, the Pages and Services lists, the contact block with the address, phone, email and hours, the social links, the newsletter form and the copyright line. The design is 1920 pixels wide and one scroll long; the screens on this page are the design the build followed.

Why is the treatment list the headline?

Because the visitor searched for a treatment, not a clinic. The five words in the hero, Botox, filler, microneedling, Kybella, biostimulators, are the words a patient types, and the sub-line carries the wellness side, peptides, hormone replacement therapy, Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, functional medicine programs. The clinic's name stays in the logo and in the positioning line; the headline is the menu.

How is the page colored?

Three backgrounds and one accent. The hero is a dark photo; the aesthetic menu sits on white; the wellness menu, the about section, the reviews and the TV feature sit on cream, with the positioning line back on white between them. Gold, the logo's color, goes to the buttons, the Explore and press links, the positioning line and the trust band, so the places to act share one color with the logo. Headings are a serif display face; the body is a sans.

What does the page say first?

The headline is the treatment list in capitals, Botox, filler, microneedling, Kybella, biostimulators, over a dark photo of an injection in progress, with the wellness side in the sub-line: peptides, hormone replacement therapy, Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, functional medicine programs. One gold button under it reads Book a consultation. The header carries the lotus logo, six links (Home, About me, Aesthetic services, Photo gallery, Blog, Contact us) and a second gold button, Book now.

What treatments does the clinic list?

Two menus. The aesthetic menu is six photo cards on white with a one-line description each: Kybella, customized prescription skincare, hair growth, Botox in Miami Beach, medical micro needling, and fillers and biostimulators. The wellness menu is four category cards on cream, each with an Explore link: Aesthetics, Weight Loss, Hormone Therapy, and Wellness and IV. Under it, the positioning line in gold serif, personalized functional medicine and aesthetics in Miami Beach, and another Book now button.

Who runs the clinic?

The about section sets the founder's portrait, in a white coat, beside three paragraphs: she is a board-certified nurse practitioner through the ANCC and a certified functional medicine provider, the copy names Botox, dermal fillers, microneedling and Kybella on the aesthetic side and HRT, medical weight-loss injections and peptide therapy on the wellness side, and two gold buttons close it, More about us and Book now. Further down, a gold band says the same thing in three columns, Safe, Results driven and Passionate, under the heading Licensed Medical Professional and Aesthetic Specialist You Can Trust.

How does the page end?

A video block whose heading names a TV show, Destination Miami, with the clinic's neon sign as the poster and a circular play button, then a gold link to more media and press. A six-tile Instagram strip. Then the footer: the logo over a Google map, the Pages and Services lists, the contact block with the street address, phone, email and Monday to Friday hours, Instagram and Facebook links, a free monthly newsletter form and the copyright line.

How do the sections stack?

The first five sections in one scroll: the dark hero, the aesthetic menu on white, the wellness menu on cream, the positioning line on white and the about section on cream. Under them, in order, come the reviews carousel, the gold trust band, the TV feature, the Instagram strip and the footer. Three backgrounds take turns down the page, near-black, white and cream, and gold goes to the buttons, the links, the positioning line and the trust band.

The decisions

  • The treatment list is the headline.

The hero does not open with a slogan. It opens with the five words a patient searches for, Botox, filler, microneedling, Kybella, biostimulators, in capitals over the photo, and the wellness programs in the sub-line. The clinic's name stays in the logo.

  • Two menus, not one.

Aesthetics and wellness are sold to the same patient from two menus. The aesthetic menu is six treatment cards on white; the wellness menu is four category cards on cream with an Explore link each. The change of background is the divider.

  • Gold means an action.

One gold, the logo's, on every Book button, the Subscribe button, the Explore and press links, the positioning line and the trust band. The backgrounds are near-black, white and cream, so a visitor scanning for where to book finds gold.

  • The credentials sit next to the face.

The about section pairs the founder's portrait with her board certification and her functional medicine credential in the first paragraph, and the gold band repeats the point as Licensed Medical Professional with Safe, Results driven and Passionate under it. On a page for injectables, the license is the argument.
