Plainbuilt is the AI automation company at 2737 N. Cullen Ave, Sector 2, Evansville, IN 47715. From that office we deploy voice agents, quote automation, dispatcher copilots and review reactivation for service businesses across the United States. Hours are Mon to Fri, 7 AM to 4 PM, Indiana time; the phone is (930) 212-3652.

Where is Plainbuilt, and how do you reach it?

The office page carries the address and the map. The phone is (930) 212-3652; 930 is one of Indiana's eight geographic area codes, with 219, 260, 317, 463, 574, 765 and 812. Email is hello@plainbuilt.ai. The team is 20 people across the US and India, and the engineering center is in India. Engagements are remote-first, with on-site availability where needed. We serve the United States first; clients are also in the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

What does an AI automation company in Evansville build?

Seven modules, listed on the services hub: AI voice agents, quote automation, a dispatcher copilot, review reactivation, AI chatbots, AI added to the app you already run, and AI consulting. The deployed modules are wired into the software the business already runs, ServiceTitan, Jobber, McLeod, Samsara or HubSpot where a module's page names it, and a build ships in 3 to 8 weeks depending on scope; AI consulting is a 90-day engagement, and a voice agent is live in 3 to 4 weeks. Under the AI work sits an engineering practice since 2014 with 200+ shipped projects.

The businesses we serve from here are contractors, field services, logistics, healthcare, real estate and manufacturing running $5M to $50M a year. Every deployment carries a written ROI commitment: a 30-minute working session and the 1 to 2 week diagnosis after it return a revenue leak map and an ROI projection, we tell you not to hire us if projected year-one ROI is under 3x, and if a workflow underperforms its projection by 20% or more at the 30, 60 and 90 day measurements we redesign on our dime (how we work).

What does Indiana's two-clock map mean for after-hours coverage?

Indiana runs on two clocks, and Evansville is on the less common one. Vanderburgh County keeps Chicago's clock, in the Central pocket with Posey, Gibson, Warrick and Spencer counties around it; Perry and Starke counties joined Central in April 2006. Most of the state is Eastern. Every county has observed daylight saving time since 2006, so the gap never moves with the season: an Eastern-time business is one hour ahead of this office in January and in July alike.

That is one setting a voice agent has to get right, because 60% of service calls come outside business hours, the number we carry on the voice agents page. A cutover written for Eastern time, say 5 p.m., starts the after-hours script an hour early on a Central-time shop. So we set the window by the county the business is in, never by the state. The Indiana page lists all eleven IANA zones with the counties in each, verified on 2026-09-20.

Does an AI agent have to announce recording in Indiana?

Not by statute, and ours does anyway. Indiana's wiretap article, IC 35-31.5-2-176, defines interception as the recording or acquisition of the contents of an electronic communication by a person other than a sender or receiver, without the consent of the sender or receiver; IC 35-33.5-5-5 is the offense and IC 35-33.5-5-4 the civil action. The definition reaches only a person who is neither sender nor receiver, so a party to the call may record it, the one-party rule. Whether a business answering its own line with an AI agent is that receiver is the reading counsel confirms before the agent takes its first call. Our own line says the call may be recorded and that the caller is talking to an AI agent, in Indiana as on every call.

Who sets the technical direction?

I do. I'm Eshan Cheema, founder and Chief AI Officer of Plainbuilt, and I set the technical direction for every engagement (the founder page). I started Plainbuilt because I kept seeing the same pattern in service businesses with $10M, $20M, $50M in revenue: critical operations running on phone calls, whiteboards and one dispatcher who knew everything. Those businesses need someone who knows what ServiceTitan's API does and does not do, and who can ship a voice agent into production in 4 weeks and measure whether it moved the P&L in 60 days. I am not interested in pilots.

I tell owners who ask whether a company in Evansville can run the phones for a shop in another state that the address is the least useful fact on this page. Two facts do the work: the county the shop is in, which sets the clock the after-hours window runs on, and the scheduling system the jobs live in, which is where the agent writes the booking. A partner in your own ZIP code who cannot name your scheduling platform has not done this before. That is question 2 of the 20 questions for hiring an AI automation partner, and you can ask it of us.

Are the published deployments in Evansville?

No, and I would rather say so than let the office address imply it. The three published case studies are anonymized until each client approves naming, and each sits where its case study places it: a regional concrete contractor across the Midwest, a 3-location cleaning and restoration company across the Southeast, and a regional logistics agency across the Eastern US. None of them is an Evansville client by anything the case studies state.

What we saw in deployment

A regional concrete contractor across the Midwest: a voice agent on Twilio and ServiceTitan, monthly lead capture +23% within 60 days of voice agent deployment, dated 2026-01-15 on the case study. Read the case study.

A 3-location cleaning and restoration company across the Southeast: review reactivation and an SMS agent on Jobber and Twilio, rebooking on targeted segments at 2.4x the previous quarter's manual outreach within 90 days, dated 2026-02-20. Read the case study.

A regional logistics agency across the Eastern US: a dispatcher copilot on McLeod and Samsara, route planning per dispatcher from 2 to 3 hours to under 1 hour after the copilot went live, dated 2026-03-18. Read the case study.

What went wrong, on the concrete contractor: a week spent building the revenue leak map from scratch when the data was already sitting in the client's call tracking software, so in contractor engagements since we pull call recordings on day one.
